Calendar of Events

2012 Mid-Winter National Staff Conference will be held February 16, 17 and 18, 2012, at the Tysons Corner Marriott, 8028 Leesburg Pike, Vienna, VA. The room rate is $95 per night, single or double. Room rates are $89 if you pay in advance. Please make your room reservation directly with the Tysons Corner Marriott no later than Jan 20, 2012, at (703) 734-3200. Be sure to tell them you are with the Marine Corps League.

Marine South will be held April 11-12, 2012 at Camp Lejeune MCB.

2012 Department of WV Convention will be May 11-12, 2012 and hosted by Herbert J. Thomas Memorial Detachment 947 in Charleston, WV at Charleston Marriott, 200 Lee St. E, Charleston, WV. Rooms reservations: 304-353-3600. Price: $99 per night plus room tax. Banquet TBA.

SgtMajor Holly Prafke, Headquarters & Headquarters Squadron, MCAS Cherry Point,  will be the guest speaker at the Mid East Conference banquet June 16 in Raleigh.

2012 Department of NC Convention will be June 1-3, 2012; hosted by the Sgt. Doug Myers Detachment #1222 in Cherokee, NC at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Hotel, 777 Casino Drive, Cherokee, NC.  The host hotel is the Quality Inn, 671 Seven Clans Lane, Cherokee, NC, 828-497-4702.
